Day 1 - Arrival

Arrive at Robert L. Stanfield Airport in Halifax and board our coach to make our way across the upper Annapolis Valley and down the Bay of Fundy. Time permitting we’ll visit a coastal fishing village or two for a brief refreshment overlooking the bay. Once we reach Annapolis Royal, the Sister City of Annapolis, Maryland, we’ll check in to several of the beautiful Bed and Breakfasts sprinkled throughout town. That night head down to Ye Olde Towne Pub for dinner on your own. Join the town for a “Kitchen Party” with music by The Boys and local musicians.
Day 1 Meals: No meals included

Day 2 - Digby Scallop Festival

After breakfast, enjoy a National Historic District Tour and visit Annapolis Royal’s Farmers’ and Traders’ Market. Then head down the road a piece to Digby for the Annual Digby Scallop Festival. Them Eastport Oyster Boys become The Scallop Boys on stage! Depending on the time of the Oyster Boys’ performance in Digby, there may be free time to visit Fort Anne National Historic Site, pre or post Scallop Days.
This evening is at leisure to relax, visit with friends, and enjoy a special dinner on your own. Overnight once again in your B&B.
Day 2 Meals: Breakfast

Day 3 - Digby Neck/Brier Island

After a leisurely breakfast, we’ll ride down the spectacular Digby Neck Peninsula crossing on two ferries to Brier Island. Enjoy some free time for lunch then explore at leisure the scenic nature trails, enjoy bird watching, learn about the wildflowers or simply rest and relax. That evening we’ll be staying at the cliff side Brier Island Lodge. Enjoy dinner on your own at one of the Island’s restaurants or in the Brier Island Dining Room
Day 3 Meals: Breakfast

Day 4 - Brier Island/Whale Watching Tour

Today get your camera ready for an afternoon Whale Watching Cruise in the Bay of Fundy. Use any free time pre or post cruise to engage in activities you may have missed the day before. Round out the evening with a group dinner together in the Brier Island Lodge dining room and perhaps an impromptu concert.

Day 5 - Digby Neck to Lunenburg

Depart this morning after breakfast, crossing the lower Annapolis Valley to the Atlantic Coast. En route visit the town of Bear River known for local artisans. Stop at the Kejimkujik National Park for an orientation at the Visitor’s Center and a picnic lunch in the park. After checking into various Bed & Breakfasts in Lunenburg, enjoy some time to explore this historic waterfront harbor town and have a leisurely dinner on your own.
Day 5 Meals: Breakfast, Box Picnic Lunch

Day 6 - Lunenburg Schooner Bluenose Sail

Wind, weather and tide permitting, we'll board the Schooner Bluenose II for a cruise. Afterwards, choose among several options for your afternoon activities… visit the Ovens (water caves), take a guided walking tour of Lunenburg, visit the famous Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic or enjoy the unique shops downtown. Seek out one of the many waterfront restaurants for dinner on your own.

Day 7 - Mahone Bay, Chester & Shore Club

We head up the coast to the areas of Mahone and St. Margaret’s Bay. Enjoy free time for optional excursions & activities on your own – golf, a kayaking adventure, spa indulgence or perhaps a trip to scenic Peggy’s Cove. This afternoon visit Chester and experience the excitement of Race Week. That night we all head to the famous Shore Club for a Lobster Feast extravaganza (Chicken or Vegetarian for Landlubbers). Following the feast, we'll be treated to a performance by Them Eastport Oyster Boys with guest musician, Morgan Davis.

Day 7 Meals: Breakfast, Lobster Feast

Day 8 - Kejimkujik

Re-visit the Kejimkujik National Park in time for the Tent Dwellers Centennial Celebration and Canoe Festival. Canoe or kayak along the Mersey River, explore the scenic trails, swim, ride a bike or join a Parks Canada guide for an interpretive program. Pick out the perfect spot for a picnic lunch. Once in Annapolis Royal, check into a Bed & Breakfast and have dinner on your own in town. The evening’s highlight is the world-renown Candlelight Graveyard Tour. This unique experience won the Tourism Industry of Nova Scotia’s 1st Place Golden Hospitality Award. Bring your sense of adventure!
Day 8 Meals: Breakfast, Boxed Picnic Lunch

Day 9 - Annapolis Royal Festivities

Following breakfast, Tour Port-Royal National Historic Site, a recreation of Champlain’s 1605 Habitation. Back in town, Annapolis Royal is full of festival activities today. You'll be treated to their annual Paint the Town Affair, Digby Yacht Club's Sailing Regatta and Entertainment including the Annapolis Royal 400 Musicians, Local and Regional acts and of course, Them Boys. You’ll have time to browse the quaint shops, visit the O’Dell House Museum, meet the ghosts of the Sinclair Inn, and wander the award-winning Historic Gardens. The fun continues as the Lieutenant Governor presents Annapolis Royal with this year’s community Pride award. Complete your visit to one of Canada’s oldest European settlements and that night be inducted into Annapolis Royal's Order of Good Cheer while enjoying a delectable gourmet feast.
Day 9 Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 10 - Departure

Depart for Halifax with stops at the Grand Pré National Historic Site and an Annapolis Valley Vineyard (time permitting). Proceed to the airport. Farewell to Nova Scotia (for now!), with new made friends and lasting memories!
